Butterscotch ice cream is loved by many across ages. The crunch of praline and smoothness of cream blended together gives the ice cream and one of a kind texture setting it apart from the other ice cream flavours. If you are an ice cream lover and have to have ice cream for dessert after your meals, this recipe will help you save money and effort of going out and getting ice cream. Ice cream is one of the food items that brings the whole family together to relish the flavours, the joy will become double if the ice cream is cooked by you. In a saucepan add 1/2 cup sugar cook it until it melts on low flame
Add 2 tbsp of water and cook for 1 minute
add 1/4 cup mixed nuts (cashew almond peanut) in the caramel mixture than mix it and turn off the stove
then transfer it into butter paper and spread it evenly. Keep it aside until it sets and hardens
After the caramel hardens peel it from the butter paper then grind it until it turns into small pieces
Add 2 cups heavy whipping cream in bowl. Beat it until soft peaks forms
Then 1 cup condensed milk, mix it than add few drops of food colouring and mix it
add the caramel mixture into cream mixture mix it until well its combined
Pour the mixture into the mould
Sprinkle some nuts at top than cover it with wrapping paper
